Gender, Projected is an ongoing photo project exploring gender expression and identity. It was started by Am Norgren and Reese Ramponi as an attempt to explore their own genders, and grew as others joined the collaboration. By showing photographs and sharing interviews of participants, we aim to spur discussion around gender and identity. You can get involved in Gender, Projected by donating, spreading the word, being a model, and following us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Whether you haven't thought much about gender or you’ve been looking for a space to explore it, we’d love for you to join the project and the conversation!
"When I first came to this country, I didn’t know that other people felt the way I did. Once I realized that being trans was a thing, it made me feel like me."
